Even it Up:
Time to End Extreme Inequality
After several centuries of thinking and experimenting we have worked out how to beat poverty.
The last 40 years of market fundamentalism have led to the largest reduction in absolute poverty in the history of the human race. The proportion of our fellow Homo Sapiens that get three squares and a bed every day is higher than it ever has been. More people have moved from that less than a $1.25 a day destitution that is the official absolute poverty line to those three squares a day in these past few decades than ever before.
A charity supposedly concerned with poverty says we really must stop using that successful method.
Oxfam has a new report out complaining about the rise in global inequality in recent years.
